How to order books?

1. You can order online, choosing single book titles by our different browsers and use the order button to put the book into the shopping cart. The order is only definitive with the last step in the order procedure, asking you a final and definitive confirmation of your order. All steps before you always can cancel or modify without any risk or obligations. If your order has processed (after step 4), you will automatically receive an order confirmation by email – for your own reference and security.
2. You can send your order and all your relative data also by email to: sales@belvedere-books.com

Payment options, VAT and invoices

1. You can pay by credit card, bank transfer, bank draft or by cash on delivery - “contrassegno” (only within Italy).
2. Otherwise we can send you a proforma invoice for a pre-payment (payment in advance).

Do we get an invoice for the ordered books?

• All purchases will have a propper invoice. You will find the invice in the parcel, together with the shipped books. For all orders from European countries it is obligatory, to fill in your VAT number during the order procedure, excluding private persons. In front of the VAT number you must select also your nation code, otherwise the system does not accept the entry and will show an error.citel

Shipments / How long it takes to get the books?

• You have several options regarding the transportation and shipment of the requested books. You decide by your own, how quick and safe you like to receive your order.
  Standard: Sea/Surface Mail (cheapest and slowest shipment) Delivery time depends on the post in both countries. No tracing is available.
  Better: Air Mail (more expensive, but faster). In Europe Air Mail is not neccessary. Outside Europe, Asia, South America, etc. its nearly a must. Much Better = Air Mail / International Parcel (more expensive, very fast, always traceable).
  Best: Courier Service (you use your own courier – like UPS / Fedex / DHL / or others). Choose courier and insert your own courier code (the code must be valid for international shipments / receivings from abroad). Shipment is always traceable, you pay in your own country at your particular conditions with your courier.
  
  Nota bene: Courier service is available only on your behalf, if you select your own courier and insert your own - valid - courier code.
  All shipments will be made with a maximum of care from the sender. Shipments are under the responsibility of receiver.

Delivery / How much are the costs?

• Please note that shipping costs are a combination of service & handling charges and the cost of transportation – depending on weight and shipping method.
  While you choose during the order procedure the way of shipment, the system will show you the relative costs for this shipment in the order schedule – before you do your final order.
  Transportation by your own courier are depending on the conditions and terms, you have arranged with your own courier in your country. There is only a min. service/handling charge of Euro 10,00 shown in the order.

Can we return the books?

• If Belvedere delivered a damaged (missprinted) or wrong book title (a book which was not ordered), we will change the title into the right one. This is of course under the responsibility of Belvedere. Otherwise we do not accept returns of design books, f.e. if you have ordered books which you already have or you do not like upon receipt. Because we are dealing with sensitive visual design material, we keep this “non return” policy for your own protection and for the exclusivity of the designs envolved.

Can I change my order?

• As long as we have not shipped out the books you have requested, you can change the order, only by sending an email – do not re-order again, otherwise it might be, that you receive two orders.
  Send the message with the changes only by email. We than will confirm, if the change is still possible.

Do all the Belvedere Books have a CD or DVD?

• Not all Belvedere Books have digital support. At the description of each book on our site you will find the information, if the book is avaialbe with CD or DVD-ROM.
  There are also lists, which are showing all those titles which include a digital support, such as CD-ROM or DVD-ROM. F.e. search by or browse > select by Books with CD / DVD.
  All other titles - if necessary - can be easily scanned for your personal or professional use.

Are all the Belvedere Books Copyright-Free?

• Generally all books of Belvedere are Image, Design & Ideabooks which are develpoed to inspire your fantasy and your own creativity. The designs of the books are basic working material, which offer models and patterns for your individual artwork.
  Many series of our product line are copyright-free material, stated out as such. All our books with digital support (CD or DVD) are also copyright-free and ready-to-use, regarding creative art work. The books cannot be copied or reproduced as (entire) books or similar products / production or parts of it, in order to commercialize or to reselling those as book or similar product / production. But the single designs can be used as basic idea and/or for reproduction of those for individual artwork. If industrial or mass product reproduction is required, we suggest, to contact the publisher, for your own sicurity.

How I can find the Books / the right titles?

• You can browse the books in different ways: in alphabetical order (by books titles), by book series, by ISBN Numbers, by book subjects (you can choose a subject (f.e. “Lace” or “Art Deco” and you’ll find all related book titles), by books with CD/DVD, or by book cover (you’ll find a visual list, showing all our books by covers).
  You click on the book of your interest and you’ll find all the details, description, sample images and price on this particular book title, as well as the option to order (order button).

How safe are my personal data?

• All your personal data (incl. credit card info) are only used to process your order accurately. We do not transfer or sell your data to third parties. A total exclusivity is guaranteed.

Can we receive your Newsletter without a book order?

• Yes. Click the Newsletter button and fill in your data, incl. your email address. The service is free of charge.
